This book contains plenty of very handy information for women setting out in business. This book is written by a woman for women and contains plenty of "take no prisoners" type language. The author is not shy when it comes to plainly speaking her mind and telling us what she thinks about men who might get in the way of women starting out. She has no patience or time for men (or women for that matter) who are not helpful to your start-up.Her language can be, at times unnecessarily (at least in my opinion) profane. Her advice regarding how to deal with naysayers, for example, cannot be printed here but the passion that she brings to the cause is certainly accentuated by the obscenities sprinkled throughout this book.
The suggestions and resources provided in this book are excellent. They would be helpful no matter what business you were thinking of starting up. The author's expertise is in Tech start-ups but the information in this book could be used by anyone embarking on their first business as the advice is, in many ways, universal.
My final assessment is that the author's advice for women in the Feminist Start-up is a work of extreme generosity and goodwill by the author. This book and the helpful tips given in it is certain to help many women get on the road to owning and running a successful business.

Danesha Sapp is on a mission to make more women the CEOs of Tech businesses. She has started tech businesses and is convinced that any woman with an idea and a plan can make it through the tech start-up process with a bit of guidance.
Her endeavor is lofty but she is a force to be reckoned with and she will not be deterred. In this book Ms. Sapp will walk you through all the necessary steps, from start to finish, of starting your tech company. The resource list that she gives is exhaustive and is worth the price of the book. She has distilled all the tricks of the trade into chapters and included them in this book.
I was concerned that the language would be overly technical and that I would not understand the necessary business steps or financial steps required to get a start-up going but this is where the author out does herself. Everything in this book is written in a language that is easy to understand and easy to implement.
Ms. Sapp would like more women to be empowered to begin their own businesses. She has written a great guide for the female tech start-up "want to be" which is complete with useful tips and tricks. Now there is no excuse, we best get busy.
